Sarah Smith, JD, LLM

Sarah Smith is a solo practitioner in the Knoxville area, specializing in east planning including preparation of wills and trusts, as well as other documents to assist clients with estate planning and asset protection. Her practice also encompasses contract drafting, probate, business entity formation and governance, tax planning, and various transactional and general business law matters. Before establishing her solo practice, Sarah worked as an associate at a well-regarded, mid-sized firm in downtown Knoxville, where she concentrated on tax and estate planning, probate, and general transactional law.

Sarah graduated from Samford University with a B.A. in psychology. She earned her J.D. from Capital University Law School, graduating summa cum laude, and later received her LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University.

Sarah passionately supports the U.S. Military, dedicating her time to help military families and veterans whenever possible. Her husband, Jake, is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an Infantry Officer in the Army until 2015.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. The Smith family attends Fellowship Church regularly. A lifelong fan of University of Tennessee athletics, Sarah also loves participating in outdoor activities, reading, and enjoying time with friends.
